Windows Computer Repair

Many people who are using a windows based computer, pc or laptop, do not know what it takes to protect their valuable information, like photos, word documents and all other sensitive data.

All it takes is to have a basic understanding of things, and that will protect your windows computer from early repair!!

I repaired a lot of computers and seen the same thing over and over happening! No virus scanner present or not updated or worse never even used it! I always compare it with leaving your house keys hanging in the outside door key lock!! It’s inviting people in! Not everyone will try to get in your house but some may. It is no different with your computer.

So what can you do to prevent a windows computer repair?

First of all you need to check the following:

Is there a trusted virus scanner present?

Is there a trusted anti spyware scanner present?

Did you defragement your hard drive(s) recently?

Installed all the necessary windows updates?

If your answer to all of the above is yes then You Are doing great!

Next steps are: 

Did you run a virus scan and/or anti spyware scan recently?

Are those scanners set to run at least once a week (Full system scan)?

A good tip to prevent a windows computer repair Run (when possible) these scans also in the so called “SAVE MODE”

You Can run safe mode on a windows computer by pressing the F8 (Function key8) button, as soon as your pc or laptop starts (boot) up.
