Accidentally formatted USB drive from windows installation, drive now unformatted, how do i format it?
The thing is when i right click on the drive in my computer and click format it says that windows cannot format it. Any tips on how i can format the flash drive?
Also if anyone knows what file system this flash drive uses i would appreciate it if you told me,
USB drive is Kingston DataTraveler 8GB.

unplug it…
shut down
reboot
plug it back into another usb port
when the machine finds it, then right click on it, and select format..
if that is not working them check the tech support page on their website… it may be possible the drive failed.
