When did you start taking your kids on scary rides?
Like upside down roller coasters and such?
My MIL took my daughter to a mainly water park amusement park (not a good one) last year and said my daughter was fearless. She was 6 at the time. The rides were pretty tame but she handled the Spider well from what I hear.
I’m thinking of taking her to Cedar Point (the ultimate Roller Coaster park to those of you not in the know) and taking her on everything she is tall enough for, which will be almost everything. She’s about 55″ already.
Do You Think I’m crazy or sadistic, or did your kid like the rides at this age too?
When I was 7, my dad literally picked me up and DROPPED me in the car because he knew that there was nothing to fear. I was scared ****less at first, but afterwords, I agreed it was one of the best things he’d ever done for me. I now LOVE LOVE LOVE roller coasters. I’d say go ahead and do it… What could go wrong?
