Is there any way to run Rise of Nations on Windows 7?

I have just upgraded to Windows 7, and I love it. However it will not allow me to run my most favorite game of all time Rise of Nations, both the original and the expansion Rise of Nations Thrones and Patriots. Is there any way to get this game to run. I have reinstalled multiple times and there is always an error message. P.S. I am using 32 bit.
