What is a good team in pokemon gold that can beat the elite four?

I’ve tried to beat the elite four like a million times and I never did… so I’m starting a new game but I don’t know what a good team… can someone that has beat the elite four or plays pokemon gold help?

I don’t know an exact team, but here’s a few tips.

Will is a Psychic type trainer, so bring some Ghost, Dark, or Electric/Ice/Rock/whatever (for Xatu) and you’ll be a-ok.

Koga is a Poison type, so a Ground or Psychic type will work just fine. A Fire type would help too.

Bruno is a Fighting type, so a Flying or Psychic type will work.

Karen is a Dark type, but some of ‘em are not Dark at all. So bring a Fighting type, a Fire type (or Ice for Vileplume), a Ground/Water for Houndoom.

Lance is a Dragon type, so Ice would be Your Best bet.
