I can’t vouch for almost any of them but I do know a bit about one. I go to california on business alot. I deliver equipment my company builds and set it up and train the new owner on how it works… anyway when I go i plan my trips around the Long beach, Pomona and big three swap meets when I can. If not then I plan around a nostalgia drag race so it makes the trip that much more worth while. One of the regular wheeler dealers that i frequent out there has a garage that any nostalgia drag racer would die for. I probably took pictures for almost an hour of what is lining the walls and shelves and some of those pics are my scrolling screen saver on my computer. The cool part is it’s all for sale. I stay in close contact with this guy because he is well connected in the L.A. area. He is into Anglia’s and Thames panels and has a neet little collection of these too. I think one of the cars that didn’t make the deadline was an anglia or a Thames and in the show it went to the gothic crusher. On a trip out there he showed me some choice fenders and other parts and once again I beleive they were anglia or Thames fenders and doors and some cool chevy engine stuff but he was bragging on how he was given a heads up by someone from the show and was offered a chance to pick off those better parts before it went to its doom. The parts meant nothing to me as I buy Hemi parts from him. He wasn’t pushing a sell on me and he’s the kind of guy that doesn’t have one story after another that outdoes the previous when you talk to him and the parts I saw looked familiar from an episode I saw in where the unfortunate non-achievers didn’t get to take a tool set home. I can’t tell you where the successful projects end up but I can tell you pretty assuredly that all the choice new stuff that is on the duds doesn’t see the grinder.
