Spielberg is working on Ghost in the Shell "with DreamWorks, Leonardo DiCaprio is working in 'Akira' and are now making 'Ninja Assassin'. Does this mean that we hope to see Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, etc, is in American cinema? Hopefully! : D Are You hoping to see your favorite anime in live action films? I know I am. : D
hollywood anime desperatly want to pick up now because they can make a shit load of money, yet we know that fans will make or break movies, so that no illusions about naruto or bleach and heres why: Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Battle Angel, which is found in the words simple animations that can be translated into a movie, and mainly based on a theme with a message behind it. naruto and bleach and many other anime that more than 3 stations are almost impossible because his story also long way to go, either to tell the main story and reduce the development of characters and backgrounds, or vice versa. I can not imagine being able to tell the whole story either naruto / bleach in three 2 1 / 2 hour movie, it would be so good that fans are happy and convince those who do not know the program to watch. I'm all for it, and I hope they can make a decent Macross series, but some animes IMO not only be done in the movies are fine the way it is
