Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »Can two young men establish weather they have the same father via a paternity test with the father dead?
I found out that the man i had called dad all my life wasnt my bio father after 24 years i have found the man but he is now dead he had two kids son&daughter i was wandering if myself and one of the other children could be tested to determin weather or not we had the same father?
Yes, this kind of paternity testing is commonly referred to as a siblingship test.
The test will be performed on the brothers. You will want to include the mothers if possible, for the strongest result. The test will tell you if the two men are half-brothers (share the same father) or are unrelated.
Testing can also be done with siblings to determine if they are full-siblings (share both parents) or are half-siblings.

He Silences the Mouths of Evil Men
They were always “testing” Him, trying to trip Him up, discredit Him, and ruin His popularity.
Now it is His turn.
While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, “What do You Think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” “The son of David,” they replied. He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says, “’The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.” ‘If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?” No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions. (Matthew 22:41-46)
In this simple way Jesus demonstrates a profound truth.
1. He silences the mouths of wicked men.
- My favorite part of the arrest of Jesus (if it is ok to have a favorite part) is in John 18:4-6 “Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?” ”Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
- I have heard some say that they will say this or that to Jesus at the judgment, But He silences the tongue. They won’t get to be smart-aleck. John 3:18 tells us, “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” There is no defense attorney because there is no defense. They are already condemned. In Matthew 7:22-23 Jesus says that, “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”
(Boom – that is it! – end of discussion.)
2. The Bible shows you what we all will say:
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)
- For we who are followers of Jesus Christ it will be glory. The lost will do it in terror.
- Matthew 22:46 is a little demonstration of His ability to do this. He always was able to answer them. He silenced them in a single stroke.
3. The lesson He teaches the crowd who have been watching this: “Do not do what they do.”
- Actually, starts out with, “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3 So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. (Matthew 23:2-3)
- He never has anything good to say about the Pharisees. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You Are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.” (Matthew 23:27-28)
4. But He says, “obey them, do everything they tell you!”
- When He tells them that they “sit in the seat of Moses,” He is reminding them that God has put them in authority over them, and that authorities come from God. “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” (Romans 13:1) “…he sets up kings and deposes them.” (Daniel 2:21) “…and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of men.” (Daniel 4:17)
- The boundary line that tells you when you should not obey them is demonstrated by the disciples when they were arrested. They told the priests and Pharisees, “We cannot keep quiet and not preach Jesus. “It is better to obey God than man.”
5. “They do not practice what they preach.” (Matthew 23:3)
- Do not follow the example of leaders who do not do what they say to do.
- This is an important reminder for us as parents. Make sure we are setting an example for our kids. Never tell them, “Do as I say, not as I do.”
- “They tie up heavy loads and put them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.” (Matthew 23:4)
6 “Everything they do is done for men to see:
- Vs.5 They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long;
- Vs.6 they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues;
- Vs.7 they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them ‘Rabbi.’
7. The esteem amongst true Christians will be different. You will see things differently.
- “The greatest among you will be your servant.” (Matthew 23:11)
- Our leaders are there to serve, not to profit from position.
- We treat with honor those who serve in the most menial ways: those who hold the door for us, those who clean our toilets and sweep the floors, those who serve the tables.
- Those leaders who set the best examples for us are not the ones who go first at the pot luck. They wait and go last. We want the mothers with children, the elderly, the physically weak, those who are “the least” amongst us to go first.
- “…those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. (1 Corinthians 12:22-24)
