Spiderman Sleeping Bag, Pillows, Sofa and Other Items For A Marvel Bedroom

Items like a Spiderman sleeping bag, pillows and sofa are helpful in crafting a special bedroom for your Marvel Comics fan. Other items are the proverbial icing on the Spiderman birthday cake and too important not to mention. A blend of several crucial items will make your child feel like a superhero.

If your child has sleepovers on a regular basis, use a themed sleeping bag for guests to complement your theme. You may want to have one for guests and one to bring as a guest as a reminder of home for younger children. There are air mattresses available online with a Spiderman theme if you want a more thorough solution.

Sheet and comforter sets should be used to make the main piece of furniture in the room match items like your Spiderman sleeping bag. Spiderman pillows can add to the atmosphere of your room and are available in many different styles to match the taste of your resident Marvel Fan. Children on the younger side may even like to have a pillow shaped like Spiderman that can be taken to bed like a stuffed animal.

Spiderman lamps come in different styles to match your other décor and are a fun way for kids to remember to turn off the lights when they leave the room. For those children who prefer it, a Spiderman night light will offer a beacon of comfort in the dark.

A fun project You Can work on with your child is to find Spiderman Comic Book covers online, print them out and frame them in the room. If wall space is limited, a few Spiderman appliques may fit the bill. These also have the advantage of not damaging the walls in the room and of being re-positionable. If wall space is at a serious premium, remember to utilize ceiling space which is appropriate for a high flying superhero like Spiderman.

To further dress up your room, find some Spiderman action figures to place in the room. The best way to do this is to find an online retailer who has left over Spiderman movie items that are sold at a discount now that the movie hype is over. A ceiling vent or light fixture is a perfect place to hang an action figure from a piece of thread.

For the ultimate in sleepover fun, a Spiderman sofa is a wise purchase. Higher end sofas actually fold out into a bed big enough for a child. Models are available in differing price ranges. From basic to a little more fancy, this will complement items like your Spiderman sleeping bag quite nicely. With a bit of creativity and a few dollars, you can use Spiderman sleeping bags, pillows and other themed items to make your Marvel fan feel special.

Spiderman 2099?

Is Marvel still printing this hero?
Do You Think I could get the serie?

The “Spider-Man 2099″ title only last four years, from 1992 to 1996, and ended with issue #48. The character also appeared in a mini-series (‘World of 2099′) along with the other characters from that time period, and last appeared in a one shot publication, the name of which I cannot remember, which brought a closure to the various 2099 series. Miguel O’Hara, the Spider-Man of 2099 has not appeared again since mid-1998, and likely won’t appear again in the future.

You should be able to buy the entire series, and every appearance of the character without having to spend very much, if you want. I wouldn’t look for any of the 2099 books to increase in value soon, and at this point most of them aren’t worth the prices printed on them. A Complete Collection of Spider-Man 2099 would probably only be of interest to a few Spider-Man completists, and supply should continue to outstrip demand for the next few decades (unless something completely unforeseen happens to increase interest in the character again, which I would not expect). If you like the character, see if you can’t get the entire series for a bit less than the combined newstand prices of the series (early issue may cost a bit more than you would like, but most issues should be fairly cheap (a dollar or less), and don’t expect to be able to ever sell it for more than you paid. If the books do increase in value, that would just be a bonus. Sometimes it is nice to have certain comic books just because you want to read them now and again.
