I am (: get a new computer. Rofl. A couple of questions please.?
I'm somewhat PC challenged. I have a bad PC with Windows Millennium Edition an antiquated HP 20gig hd and 286 ram. I only use this system for e-mail and banking, and a couple dozen songs in Real Player. The PC has a short list programs Windows Millennium Edition, Yahoo, MSN and e-mail, browser, affiliate programs, and Real Player. With a couple of fragments (deleted programs) Scanning speed PC, and Typing Tutor. I would like to donate the relic to an elderly neighbor lady.she want to use to learn the basics of Windows, lonely, etc. Some of his relatives (Daughter and son) appear to be a little shady. Is there a safe way to leave Windows on the PC. I have no original Windows Dvd.Questuon # 2 Is Windows Vista Premium very different I? # 3Is is very easy to learn? # 4 If it is difficult to learn, I can learn online? Thanks for your help !!!!!!
1. if you mean that want to clean your stuff out of the machine before giving it away … hmmm this is a bit involved. Probably the best computery or ask a friend to install windows in some way. You need: – remove anything you've installed that is not going to want. – Delete the Internet cache, cookies, saved passwords – clean all files in your account User – clean the record of something shocking. This will be the hardest part, and why it is probably best to reinstall everything. – Use a rubber disc Clear to wipe free space on disk (but not eliminate the entire drive) and write random data over it so that things can not be restored / recovered. If you have not the dealer said I would not have worried so this step. 2. Vista is a bit different from me, but should be fine. The start button is still there, etc 3. quite easy. It is designed to be easier.
