How can I make so that I can see weather through the windows in The Sims 2?

Hi, I was playing the Sims 2 earlier today, and I noticed that if you have seasons, and it’s starts raining, snowing, hailing, and go inside your house, it doesn’t show the weather outside the windows! I was hoping someone would be able to tell me how to make so that I can see weather effects outside the window (like a mod, or change the settings or something). Any help will be greatly appreciated!

You Can‘t. The reason weather wasn’t included in the base game as planned was because it kept passing through the roofs. They didn’t actually fix this issue for Seasons, they just developed a nice work-around.

So, there’s little ground effects from the weather, and you can see build up on roofs, but all the actual falling-from-the-sky parts are just an overlay between you and Your Sims (figuratively speaking).
