How do you make a sim video without downloading that stupid website?

How do you create Your Own Sim video, with say, Sims Life Stories on your computer? Someone told me Windows Movie Maker but I don’t understand it. And also a stupid website you have to download. Please Help!

Buy the game at Wal-Mart. Ten using the movie making capability in the game and then import the video clips to windows movie maker.
