Old Arcade Shooter game, plane expands horizontally with attachments when touched, what game is this?

There is an old Arcade Shooter Game I am looking for and have been for Years. When blowing things up You Can touch some kind of power up and attachments come from off of the side of the screen and attach to your plane horizontally, you can get 3-4 of these attachments and make your plane bigger horizontally. ………..Can anyone help me with the name of this game………..It’s not Raiden, in Raiden the plane never expands horizontally.

Sounds like “Sonic Wings/Aero Fighters” series. Each power up you get makes your plane larger, and adds up with the weapons and firepower. Fun Game.

Shooting Games – Sharp Shooters are not Always Bad!

Someone was assassinated in a downtown area of the city last morning!
