hello ..:) can someone give me an explanation about what is OEM software in a very late coz Im confused?

well, I've asked this before and still do not understand, some say that OEM software does not come with windows cd-rom and retail comes with the cd rom, which makes sense but others say the opposite, can please explain some1 thnx

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) software is designed for installation in a "new" computer, ie as a Dell or Compaq, or one they have built. It is as functional as the retail version or in boxes.
