Picross 3D Review – Picross 3D ds Game Free download!

You’d be forgiven for missing Picross DS a couple of years ago, it was a low budget Puzzle Game that was passed over at the time, even though it was one of the best in the genre on the DS, but everyone was too busy playing Layton to notice! Well now we have Picross 3D, which uses the same basic idea that adds an extra dimension to proceedings, will it be as uniquely compelling as its predecessor?

For the uninitiated, Picross DS saw you building a picture on a 2D plane using crosses to mark squares that made up the image, you were given help by being told the number of crosses in each row and column, and from that you would be able to build the image.

All Picross 3D does is transfer that basic idea onto a 3D set of blocks, certain blocks need to be removed to create a 3D object, to help you figure out which blocks need to be removed and which need to stay, the number of blocks that need to remain is indicated on the end of each row, column and stack (as I have decided to name the z-axis blocks). If it makes it easier think of this as a 3D version of Minesweeper, but you’re not marking mines, you’re marking blocks instead! For example if one row has a 0, Then There are no blocks that need to remain in that row so You Can remove all of them. If it says 4 then there is a group of 4 blocks next to each other in that particular row that need to be marked.

It’s a very simple principle but is very addictive, the game starts you off very simply with some nicely explained tutorials and simple sets of blocks, but as you progress the size of the puzzle increases and so does the difficulty. Soon You Are introduced to Circle and Square hints, where the number of blocks is highlighted in a circle if the numbers of blocks that need to be marked are in 2 groups or in a square if it is in 3 or more groups. You’ve just to take it one step at a time and slowly but surely you’ll see the puzzle unfold, a lot of the time it is just a case of finding the correct perspective to figure out your next move and it will all fall into place. There has been the occasional time when I’ve had to revert to guesswork to solve the puzzle but thankfully this is a rare occurrence.

Need Emulator and Rom help?

Ok I got the Dolphin Gamecube Emulator and every single Rom I download for the thing It doesnt seem to recognize the game.Am I doing something wrong?Everytime I unrar it there it still is looking it is is rared and when I try to unrar it again it comes up with a message saying there is nothing in there OR it is corrupted.Am I doing something wrong?Do I have to burn the game to a disc then itll work?

the gamecube emulators fails bad and hard to emulate the roms are not much better.
