How much do I pay a weekend retail employee?
I need to find out some opinions on what a weekend only employee should be paid on an hourly basis. Hours will be 10-7 on Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday. I want to pay more than minimum wage since my store is more of an upscale store, but not sure what the going rate is. This will also be for an older, middle aged employees, not teens. Thanks.
Edited to add that this will be my only employee for a while. I need to know what the going rate at all is, particularly for an employee working weekend hours only as I think they might earn a bit more in some cases.
well here in tx u get paid more for the weekends. if i know what u pay a weekday employee add time and half….so if is 8 dollars then it would be 12.
