This round of training includes fifty more hours of instruction, and is intended to build on experience gained during training for a commercial pilots license. Do hours spent flying in the RAF count towards a Private Pilots License (PPL)?

I want to become a commercial pilot but there is no way I could ever afford to. If i join the RAF, do i get any qualifications and do the hours i spend flying count towards them?

If you become a pilot in the RAF then the qualifications you will receive will be more than enough to help you towards a commercial pilot’s licence.

For every pilot that there is in the RAF there are twenty ground staff to help keep them there, if You Are one of those as I was then You Can join a club and get your PPL that way, providing there is one at the RAF station that your based in.
