hey i cant get Sid Meiers alien crossfire to run on xp and i tried all the patches and stuff and the cd i am using is the planetary pack alpha centauri i have no problems i just cant get alien crossfire to run please help thanks

w/e just go to my computer>(whatever drive you installed it in)>Program Files(or w/e file you installed it in)>search for the game file>once your in the game file>look for the *game name*.exe>right click it>go to properties> im not sure where it is cuza i dont want to look but click and all tabs and search for something that says “Run Program In:”> click whatever button it says to make that grey box “un-greyed” then make that file run in Windows 95, 98 , or XP(probably 95,or98 since the game is old)> then click ok and make a shortcut of that *game title*.exe onto your desktop. then try runnign it to see if it works.
