Is the military right for me?
Adventureous ~ I want a life more than anything and am on my way to becoming a Marine Fighter Pilot. – I love adventure I handle pressure well physically very strong and athletic (10 years of gymnastics) – I'm very smart. – I have no problem killing things simply still do not know if I will like military.Any ideas??
Lol, if You Are on the way to be a Marine Fighter Pilot, "which would in the military right now. There is no way a civilian is on track to be a Navy pilot in combat. Hell, a Marine can only be on track to be an aviator marina until it gets really qualified for the assignment of aircraft, then that may be on track to be a Marine fighter pilot. Using myself as an example, I can say I'm on track to be a "naval aviator," because I'm in the Navy and a better performance in my class of Midshipmen and will not no medical problems are not eligible for flight school .. And yet I can not say I'm on track to be a fighter pilot. Until you graduate OCS is not an infant Marine, and until it is accepted into a commissioning program are not "qualified" for this, because if you are meeting the requirements published just never getting selected to lead the Marines. Marines are probably the most selective branch of service officers and if not before being destroyed requirements that are not competitive, and to have the acceptance letter in hand only takes one person to not like his attitude and has no vaccine. EDIT: I was looking at through your profile and saw that you want to go to the Academy as well, 35,000 people "meet the requirements and implementation", about 1,000 will be accepted (and about half of them are for sports). The Marine Corps will have only 10% of the Academy Who Wants to join the Marines, so out of the 35,000 who applied, 100 Marina will end up as Second Lieutenants, and maybe 10 of those flying for the Hornets. See my point? Anyway, if you're asking this question and do not know if it's like military, then 10 years of commitment to the Marine Corps is not right for you.
