How to use Acer Restore CD using USB CDROM Drive?
I need to format my Acer Travelmate C110 using Restore Cd provided. The problem is my original Firewire CDROM drive was broken, so I am using USB one now. I think the Restore CD doesn’t support USB CDROM, because it just says “checking your hardrive” and it goes on forever. I know other people having same problem. Can you suggest anything please
it has no concern with the restore cd i think, chenk if you usb cdrom drive is bootable. Go to bios setting and enable USB thing. then reboot your laptop and check if your system detects your usb cdrom drive
