Should I buy Sims 3 Collector's Edition online (pre) or at the store when it comes out?

My opinion is that the game preorder I am addicted to The Sims and asked my parents to let me preorder the collector's edition if you wait until they come into the shops then it is likely to be exhausted and hav to wait another until they replenish shelves
