Nostradamus wrote quatrains. If you ever decide to look at his writings
the first sad fact from my point of view is that they are not in chronological order. This means everyone is free to cherry pick verses and make them into anything they want over vast amounts of time.
That said, a few of them are interesting, but so is The Cat in Hat. And it has better illustrations. The only date mentioned or I should say the latest date mention is 1999.
I should point out that all the dates that were mentioned in his works
that are considered the best evidence such as Hitler etc. were made to work because they added “500″ years to the date as it said in the complete works to make it inline with our calendar. Thats fine but I noticed during the 1999 date no one mentioned this magical 500 year adjustment.
This did not bode well for my faith in Nostradamus. Please note the “500″
is an estimate from memory and may be 418 or some such thing. As was noted by others Nostradamus did not predict anything.
It has been pointed out in various books his quatrains may have been secret codes and that he was in the spy business. This is very possible
since even a brief list of Magicians who were spies will show.
