Sims 2 Double Deluxe Gray Images?

I just installed the sims 2 double deluxe last night and today when I went to play, the area is gray when I go to a lot, the objects have a clear area around them,but everything else is gray. What’s wrong?

ooo dunno, that sounds odd. What are your computer specs? I’d guess it’s either the Video Card is not up to it or it’s the video card settings but I’ve not heard that specific problem before. You could try fiddling with the in game graphics settings.
