Has a NFL team has ever gone undefeated in their division and not the playoffs?
I mean the modern era (unless you used to play too six games of the division). Just curious, because it may well happen to Oakland.
I do not think so. Because a team would lose almost all other parties to miss the playoffs after going 6-0 in their division. In the past, teams really played eight games of the division. I remember the 1998 Cowboys was 8-0 in the NFC East and 2-6 against everyone else.
