how do i know if xmas lights are burnt out ?

okay soo..
one tree’s lights were working fine.. until they randomly stopped working.
then a set ive had for 2 years dont work anymore ?
and NOW i just bought a NEW set.. which worked before i took them out of the package and now they aren’t lighting up anymore !!
is there something wrong w/ my house ?? no lights will work !

sounds like one of the bulbs has gotten loose.
try pushing every one of them into the base (with it plugged in)and i think they will come on.
