How do you know how long my battery life in Windows Vista is using a laptop?

I just bought a new computer laptop with Windows Vista, but how I can know how long the battery of my life is that I have left? I have that says what percentage, but I would how long (hours: minutes) as when using Windows XP when told to go to the battery in the bottom right? Thanks in advance
