Bharath Bushan Layman hereby launches his battle.

Bharath Bushan Layman.

 The India-Gate.

Who ordered the Gujarath Killings? Modi or the Delhi Imam?

It is being written to analyze the BJP victory in the recent Gujarath and Himachal Pradesh state assembly elections. Contrary to the expectations of the secular minded people all over India, the BJP swept both the states with convincing majority. This is a very confusing phenomenon to an average scholar of the Indian politics.

The question is this: can the BJP score such a victory without getting the Muslim votes in these states, and did the North Indian Muslims forget the Gujarath carnage of 2002 ? No. Five years is not such a long period, enough to erase the memory of such a horrible chapter. Then why did that so happened ? This is a question, the answer of which should be, found out from the history.

Until the general election of 1966, the Muslims all over India used to vote in favour of the Congress. The Indian Muslims viewed the Indian National Congress as a true secular party , and identified it as the savior of the minorities in India. But the 1971 Indo-Pak war and the bifurcation of Pakistan and the foundation of the Bangladesh Republic changed all the situations.

Eventhough the Muslims lived in the Indian territory, their loyalty was towards Pakistan, because, Pakistan is an Islamic country, and it is their real country. The bifurcation of Pakstan and the subsequent emergence of Bangladesh as an independent republic provoked all the Muslims in the subcontinent, and they turned against Indira Gandhi and India. The political leadership and the Mullahs of Pakistan earmarked Indira Gandhi as their enemy No: 1, and they vowed to revenge by killing her and by dividing India. The Pak Mullahs with the help of the Pak ISI, established an axis between themselves and the Indian Mullahs who were under the control of the Delhi Imam

In the 1971 election to the Indian Parliament, Indira Gandhi came victorious with a two thirds majority, and the Bharathiya Jan Sangh was diminished to the third position with a very few MPs in Parliament. This scared the RSS and they held elaborate discussions in the Sangh Pariwar organizations, and they resolved to defeat Indira Gandhi by any means.

It was at this time the Delhi Imam contacted the opposition parties, and invited them to join their (the Mullahs’) fight against Indira Gandhi. The opposition parties considered this invitation as a boon, and the opposition leaders didn’t think of to have any second thought about it. And thus the Hindu-Muslim fundamentalist axis of the Indian subcontinent had its origin.

The understanding in between the Mullahs and the opposition parties was that the Mullahs should corner all the Indian Muslim votes in favour of the opposition parties, and in return, the opposition parties in India should extend its moral support in the elimination of Indira Gandhi., as well as the disintegration of at least one state from the Union of India.

In the 1977 election, the Mullahs kept their words and the Delhi Imam came out and toured all over India to canvass the Muslim votes for the opposition, and, as a result, Indira Gandhi was defeated ; but her Congress party came victorious in the Southern states. In the Southern states, the Mullah magic won’t work , because the Southern Muslims are literate, civilized , and above all, Indians. The Jantha Party rule under Morarji Desai was the golden era of the Hindu-Muslim fundamentalist axis of the subcontinent, and it was during this period, the Pak Mullahs with the aide of the Pak ISI, founded the Sikh Khalistan Commando force in Punjab.

They recruited Sikh youths from Punjab, trained them in Pakistan and sent them back to Punjab with sophisticated arms and ammunition. In the meantime the Pak ISI constituted the Pak Mullah militia intended to be sent to Kashmir. By the come-back of Indira Gandhi’s government in New Delhi in the year 1980, the Sikh Khalistan Commando force started its operations in Punjab, and they made the Golden Temple in Amritsar their Head Quarters.

When their operations exceeded all the limits, Indira Gandhi sent the army into the Golden Temple; and through the “Operation – Blue-Star”, evicted the Sikh Khalistan Commandos from the temple-complex; and amid the operation, the Khalistan Commando chief Bhindranwale was killed, and a huge pile of arms and ammunition with the Pak army markings were recovered from inside the temple complex.; and in the aftermath of the Operation-Blue-Star, Indira Gandhi was assassinated by two Sikh guards who were members of her security squad.

The assassination of Indira Gandhi was the happiest news to the RSS, ever since the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. As a signal of gratitude, the opposition parties deputed its most famous and most efficient advocate in India, Ram Jethmalani, to appear for the assassins of Indira Gandhi, right from the trial court to the Supreme Court, and later to the President of India with a mercy petition. Still the BJP couldn’t save the precious lives of the assassins, and they still mourn their death.

By the assassination of Indira Gandhi the Hindu-Muslim fundamentalist axis of the subcontinent struck their first goal, and the Pak ISI started the second phase i.e. the bifurcation of India by sending the Pak Mullah militia into Kashmir. But they couldn’t enter Kashmir till the end of Rajive Gandhi’s rule in 1989.

After the 1989 election, V.P.Sngh came into power in New Delhi, and the watch and ward by the Indian Army, along the Line of Control in between the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (thePoK) and Jammu Kashmir was withdrawn, so as to enable the Mullah militia along with the Pak Army regulars, to cross and enter Kashmir without any interference. Thus, the Pak Army regulars along with the Mullah militia occupied the Drass ,Kargil, and Batalik mountain regions for over ten years until they were evicted during the Kargil war in 1999.

Even though the BJP had to take back the territory gifted by it to Pakistan due to domestic pressures, the Hindu-Muslim fundamentalist axis still stays intact. The Pak and Indian Mullahs had kept their promise until today, and in each and every election held in India, ever since 1977, they had successfully diverted the North Indian Muslim votes in favour of the BJP, except in the Uttar Pradesh assembly election in 2002.

Eventhough the BJP, with the help of its supporting media, created a hype by inviting Purvez Musharaff to India and by holding an Indo-Pak summit in the vicinity of the Taj-Mahal in Agra, to appease the North Indian Muslims, the U.P. Muslims didn’t vote for the BJP during the elections to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in 2002.

It was really a shocking set-back to the Delhi Imam, which might have provoked him to get angry with his followers in the North. The BJP also got provoked by the debacle in the UP assembly election. It is a fact that both the BJP and the Delhi Imam wanted to teach the North Indian Muslims a lesson, and that was successfully done by Narendra Modi of Gujarath within a week’s time after the UP state assembly election results were announced.

Now one should recall the memory of the fact that the Godhra incident was engineered by the Kar-Sevak Gundas of the BJP to make it an issue and a reason to start the killings in Gujarath. The only doubt remaining to be cleared is that whether Modi had done it on his own, or on the direction from the Delhi Imam. And now it has become clear that the North Indian Muslims have learnt a very valuable lesson that if they want to exist in India alive, they should vote for the BJP and its allies, and exactly it was what they did in Gujarath and Himachal Pradesh.

Guerilla warfare tactics- how to apply them?

Those who fought in vietnam, how did you and the enemy fight.
Do You Think Kony and his men use the same methods to hide in the jungles?
Those who fought in vietnam how would you get someone from the jungle who was hiding?

I didn’t serve in Vietnam, I was way too young and born in the wrong country, but from what I have read there was a wide range of tactics used in that war and as the Americans discovered fighting using large scale conventional tactics against an insurgent/terrorist enemy does not lead to victory. Particularly if that enemy is well motivated and has a cause to fight for.

The Americans did have some success with counterinsurgency operations using tactics similar to those used by the insurgents coupled with winning the locals over so that they could find out what was going on when they were not around. Unfortunately full use of these tactics by the Americans was rather limited.

These ideas were not new and to some extent followed the successful British campaign in Malaya. This conflict highlighted the fact that this kind of conflict can rumble on for years. You might like to research the Malayan Emergency.
