Is there ever a time to throw “AA” away preflop in holdem poker?

I can’t think of a situation but would appreciate an expert opinion
Oh, and please tell me if you’ve ever mucked AA. I have not in 3 decades of holdem play.

I WAS THE CASINO IN A $110 SATELLITE, I WAS SHORT STACK IN EARLY POSITION, I LIMP GUY NEXT TO ME SHOVES ALL IN, 2 PLAYERS CALL, I THOUGHT ABOUT IT THEN MUCKED THEM, I HAVE TO BEAT 3 PLAYERS WITH MY ACES, LET ONE OF THEM BE KNOCKED OUT AND I EARN MORE MONEY.I WAS ACTUALLY UP AGAINST 8s, AQ, QQ, A Q FELL ON THE TURN. SO I DID THE RIGHT THING.
