Great Deal
Why the electoral system cause some states to be ignored while others have a great attention to?

Why cause the electoral system some states that others have ignored a great deal of attention given to them?

While McCain only lost by a relatively small popular vote (46%, compared to 53% Obama), who was defeated in the Electoral College (365-173, which Obama won 68% of the EC, 32% McCain): If you live New York, California, Illinois, New Jersey, Massachusetts, OR, HI, ME, VT, or RI, and voted for McCain, your vote did not, principally because these states are so loaded with Democrats. * * ALL states electoral votes went to Obama. Similarly, if you live in Oklahoma, Nebraska, Alabama, Idaho, Wyoming, or UT, and voted for Obama, your vote did not count because these states are so loaded with Republicans. * * ALL the electoral votes of those states went to McCain. I think that Republicans hate this system. Obama only needs 16 states to be elected: NY, California, Illinois, New Jersey, MA, PA, MI, WA, CT, FL, OH, Virginia, Minnesota, Wisconsin, CO, and NV If You Think that the current Electoral College system is unfair and outdated, write your U.S. representatives and senators and ask them to start the process to abolish it (go to and enter your postal http://www.congress.org if they know who they are).
