What would you do if you found out your faith was a cult?
Scientology was founded by a Science Fiction writer named L. Ron Hubbard. Them have 10 million members. "Writing science fiction for about a penny a word is no way to make a living, If you really want to make a million is the fastest way to start Your Own religion. "~ L. Ron Hubbard, how can they still have 10 million members. And why not all of these religions organized (especially those crazy Christians) realize they are part of a big pyramid scheme. I wonder how many Christians would remain Christians if they saw the amount of gold lined …. Vatican City, and why not the church sell worldly possessions to help feed the poor? damn cults. Christians in worship to babble. try to convince yourself and others that are not in a cult. How Hubbard's words affect the belief that You Are not in a cult?
I fully agree with you. It is much easier for people to believe in a non-existent entity in the sky and join a support group that idea (or a cult, as you call it), which to realize that nothing happens when we die, and there's no heaven and hell. I can understand why it is more comforting to think that his soul will live forever (the basis of all religions). I Think You need a much stronger person to look beyond that and realize that they have nobody but yourself to rely on, and that religion is the man anyway, and man is imperfect. Honestly, if I wanted to believe in God, why do not I create in my spare time and property? Why do I have respect to human-created rites (baptism, baptism) and go to a church made by man to have faith? You are completely right, the religion of any kind is worship by man, and I am glad that we have seen that before.

What could be more savage than a shotgun wedding or a wedding at a haunted hotel?
With a wedding and honeymoon in Oatman, Arizona, you get. Where is Oatman, you ask? It is a historic Ghost Town 20 miles southeast of Laughlin, Nevada, formerly a thriving mining town during the gold rush. Oatman today is a tourist town with daily Wild West shootouts and shotgun weddings. Oatman is also where you find the Oatman Hotel, where, in 1939, Clark Gable and Carole Lombard spent their wedding night.
It is said that the hotel is haunted Oatman numerous, including, some say, Clark Gable and Carole Lombard, a waitress and a former Irish miner who once lived there. It is said that the staff and guests have heard the spirits of Gable and Lombard from her room laughing honeymoon. There are also reports of the sound of bagpipes from the room of the Irish miner, whose spirit is known as "Oatie"

Crackpot
For one of the most crazy wedding, try Star Trek The Experience at the Hilton in Las Vegas, where you can have your ceremony in the Bridge of the USS Enterprise 1701-D. You minister will perform your wedding ceremony dress with Starfleet costumes while intergalactic wedding music plays in the background. Depending on the wedding package you choose, you can have your choice of one to three Star Trek characters present at your wedding: Klingon, Ferengi or BORG.
You can also choose to have your wedding reception inside Quark's Bar or lounge the master, according to the size of your wedding party. You can have a variety of different reception menus, but I would definitely go for the Warbird Romulan, a marinated chicken breast served with wild rice pilaf and seasonal vegetables. Wedding cakes come with the Star Trek logo on them.
Hopefully some of wedding ideas above either be of interest to you, or get you thinking about other creative and unique ways to celebrate their wedding. Maybe wet, wild and wacky weddings are not your thing. Maybe running away to Hawaii or Las Vegas is what you want. Whatever you decide to do, make it special.
