Gerbil Legs Please HELP!?

I was holding my gerbil as usual, and for some strange reason, he just darted of my hand onto the floor! it was about a 4 foot drop and when i looked down at him he was just kicking his feet FRANTICALLY! and so i picked him up and i could feel his two back feet still kicking my hand…then i put him down after the kicking stopped, because i thought he was having a seizure of some sort and he was dragging himself along with his 2 front paws! 1) is his legs broken or just hurt or paralyzed? 2) is there anything i could do!? 3) can/will he live? PLEASE no “probably’s or maybe’s” i need a fortified answer! Thanks so much…=(

   Cats are pets that ferrets get along better compared to dogs. This is most applicable if they grew up together with cats. The reason for this is that dogs may bite, chase, scratch, hunt, injure or kill the ferret. They should not be left together with guinea pigs, lizards, gerbils, birds, hamsters or rabbits for there is a chance for the ferret to kill them or eat these animals.

7. Legality

   The legality of owning a ferret is something you should also consider. Does your area allow ferrets? There are states that do not require permits, there are those that do, and there are those that do not allow ferrets totally. One should review the law in order before deciding to purchase a ferret.
