Does the Sims 2 freetime Expansion Pack change the game a lot?

I have nightlife, Apartment Life, pets, open for business, teen stuff, and university. I looked at whats part of the pack and there seems like a lot.

I got this expansion pack a few months ago and I find it makes the game more interesting. I love the game originally, but it gets boring after awhile. I find that with Freetime it’s more fun(:
