Age Of Intuitiveness
There are all sorts of opinions as to where we are headed as a planet of people. Ancient civilizations have marked the 12.21.2012 winter solstice as a special event. Who can get the mind around a galactic crossing that happens every 25,625 years or so? Tell me who comprehends that?
The Hopi Indians have an idea, the Incas, and so on. So, let me share mine.
What should be easier to SEE than a galactic crossing is the larger time frames, epochs, and ears that we humans have faced on this earth. Mankind has gone from being hunters to farmers: from killing to live to plantings to live. Along came the Industrial age when building stuff was the game; however, that age was surpassed by the INFORMATION AGE!
I would suggest that we’re now transitioning from the information age to the “Intuitive Age”.
Albert Einstein saw it decades ago when he said, “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” The information age that we’ve been attempting to live in has so cluttered our minds that we’ve lost track of exactly WHO we ARE and what our purpose it.
Being spirit beings, we need to embrace our IS-ness; however, as Thomas Keating put it, “We are kept from the experience of the Spirit because our inner world is filled with clutter. As we get quiet and clear away the noise, the energy of divine light and love begins to flow through our beings.”
May we become increasingly open (as many are) to the reality of our BEING. And, may we once again live as true consciousness: ushering in a new world that goes by the four numbers- 2012!
About the Author
As a spiritual-futurist, I have a BA degree majoring in history. One cannot know the future without knowing the past which holds clues to what is on the horizon. The world is in such a rapid expansion of knowledge that we are close to entering a tipping point that will forever change earth as we know it.
How do you colonize planets with a Zero Rating in Galactic Civilizations 2?
In the game Galactic Civilizations 2: Dread Lords, planets have a rating system. I cannot colonize a planet with a rating of zero but my enemy can. How do you colonize a planet with a zero rating?
I don’t remember that You Can colonize planets with a zero rating…unless there is a late game technology that unlocks that ability. What would be the point of settling there? You’d have at the most 1 spot to put something, which would be pointless. So, if one of the technologies does unlock that ability (I Never Played long enough to know for sure), it would also have to take up the rating to a halfway decent number so that there would be more than 1 or 2 spots to build something useful. Otherwise, it’s just a horrible expense, in my opinion.
