When will I be able to change my Army mos?

Intially I wanted to choose 11x, but There Were no slots. So I had to choose something else that I did’nt rlly want, 13f , but It was the next best thing that I could find that allows me to work on the frontline. I rlly wanted to do 18X though, but I wanted to get alittle maturity on the field before hand.Thats why I rlly wanted to go with 11X. Will I be able to change my mos, and when will I get that option?After BT, and AIT?
I was also denied the Ranger option, because of complications when I took my physical, but I was told that I could still take this once I got in.

Sir, If you haven’t shipped to basic training yet, u may inquire each day through your recruiter, to Military Entrance and Processing Station(MEPS), your desire for 11 series Military Occupation Series (MOS). You may not get 11x but you should take something in the 11 series as you would be able to pick up the skill identifier ‘x’ when you get to your permanent party (station) after Basic Training and Advance Individual Training (BC&AIT). Keep bugging them before you ship! Now, if you have already shipped and haven’t gone to AIT yet you must renegotiate your contract before u ship to AIT. If u have already shipped, then you must request through your unit a reclassification (very difficult) for retraining. Otherwise you wont be able to change your MOS until you come into the reenlistment window, which is one year before you get out of your initial contract.
