If my standard BMW 16 "factory wheels and got a brand new 18" alloys of them right?

If my standard 16 BMW "Factory wheels and got a brand new 18" alloys they'll have to also change the disc brake calipers and all? I was reading Chavez in a book that always make the mistake of putting a body kit and rims of great luxury, but leaving the small factory brakes? Not sure if this applies a BMW, not the latter is just one of a series 3. But I want to make sure you do it right. Thanks.

Hi No, no need to change the brakes, no need that the clamps, pads and discs that are not influenced by the size of the wheel. The only reason you may want to change them is to make it look better, a reason purely aesthetic. The bottom of the current 3 Series range is the 316i in Europe, comes with 16 inch wheels, however, the 18 or 19 inch wheels can be specified the new BMW without any changes on the brakes. Andy
