Is it my European itinerary too ambitious?

I was looking to get some perspective on my trip to Europe in August prospectively. Not sure if I'm biting too much and if I'm going to spend much time actually also travel instead of sightseeing. Arrival in London (3 nights in London) Ferry / Train to Amsterdam (2 nights in Amsterdam) Train to Berlin (3 nights in Berlin) Train to Prague (3 nights in Prague) train to Munich (3 nights in Munich) I would be taking night trains if possible, but I'm not sure if I'm biting too much for my first European adventure. I'm thinking of cutting Amsterdam. Although I think Amsterdam would fun, I'm more for the culture of the party and although I know that Amsterdam has much to offer the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh museum, etc, could still cut. Is my plan too ambitious?

No, it would not be too ambitious on all trains through the night if that were possible. But the only part of this with a train Tonight is the journey from Amsterdam to Berlin. There is a night train from Amsterdam to Berlin, it puts you in Berlin at 4:21 am. It is not a useful direct night train from Berlin to Prague, but there is a train at 5 am Ostbahnhof in Berlin or one at 6:31 am from the Hauptbahnhof which will take you to Prague in the morning and you could get some sleep on the train. The go from Prague to Munich one day to another requires several changes of train or a change in Salzburg at 4:30 am. I've done that and it's not bad, but you will not sleep all the way through Prague to Munich. Many people take trips and get an overall picture of a place and move on. It would also be very easy to take care of one or two of these places time. It really depends on your priorities. Amsterdam is much more than a party town. There's plenty to see and do including hundreds of museums covering almost any topic immagine. In addition, a large number of possible day trips from the city via the Netherlands – is very easy to navigate. http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml If you are going to cut either Amsterdam or Berlin for this itinerary, you may want to check the low-cost flights to reduce travel times for the longest leg of the trip. Amsterdam to Prague would be one hour 12 + travel by rail, for example. A couple of good options for the identification of cheap flights are: http://www.skyscanner.net/ and http://www.whichbudget.com/en/
