How can burn DVDs if you only have one CD Rom Dvd?

Do not insert the CD / DVD ROM and save it and then insert a blank and I start a copy or what?

In order to burn DVDs, you need a DVD-R. If you have a CD-R, then You Can only burn CDs. Also need a CD / DVD Burner.
