How to have a lucid dream

What are lucid dreams?

Lucid dreaming means dreaming while you know You Are dreaming, and when you know you are dreaming within a dream may also alter the course of sleep, the practice also can develop complete control over your dreams. You will be able to create anything the mind can imagine, change the environment even change Your Own appearance, having a chat with Abraham Lincoln or fly to the Grand Canyon.

The earliest recorded lucid dreams date back to the V century, the record came from a letter written by St. Augustine in 415 AD Another well-known recorded example of lucid dreaming came from eight century Tibetan Buddhists in the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Buddhists wrote about a form of yoga designed to maintain full waking consciousness while in the dream state. This documentation ancient dreams says is more advanced than what we know today.

People have been having lucid dreams for as long as the human mind has been dreaming. The first known use of real dreams term "lucid" was by Frederik van Eeden in his work "Study of Dreams" was released in Proceedings of the Society for Psychical Research in 1913. (Van Eeden also wrote the novel The Bride of Dreams). Since then the term has become part Our current.

Steps to Lucid Dreaming

"I do not sleep," have you ever heard someone say this? Or you came to tell you the same? It is a true statement, all night dreams, but some people do not remember their dreams. The first step in learning to dream lucid, as in my article The intuition is to have the desire to remember your dreams. Now before going to bed, have a clear mind, tell yourself that "I will remember my dream when I wake up." This is a proven and effective way to help dream recall. Have a disordered mind or concerns may cause distractions to remember your dream in the morning.
Having a regular bedtime, try to get a routine going with a consistent bedtime and wake time This also helps you in your dream memory. Avoid drinking alcohol or taking drugs before going to bed. These things may prevent you remember your dreams. The diet also plays an important role in the dream to remember, or just to eat fatty foods just before going to bed will be up your body with food digestion instead of getting the rest of your body needs and resources away from the brain injury.
The most important step to remember your dreams is to keep a dream journal. Keep a pencil and a notebook or tape recorder next to his bed in order to reach as soon as you wake up. Want to make the task of recording your dreams as easy as possible. Having a small lamp beside the bed will help if you wake from a dream in the middle of the night and the need to record it.
Do not get out of bed immediately when you wake up, lying in his bed with his eyes closed and moving as little as possible. Wake up slowly and stay relaxed, they cling to their feelings you have and let your mind wander to images than just dream, write as many details as possible about your dream, do not judge the content, single disc, so later You Can go back and evaluate when they are more aware. Talking to people about their dreams to friends or engaging in some online forums will also help you remember your dreams.

How to have a lucid dream

Once you get your dream journal and you are able to recall at least two dreams a night, you can skip the steps for have a lucid dream. There are many ways key yourself to the fact that you are dreaming but I'm going to talk a couple of the easiest for beginners. First there is the reality testing (RT). How do reality testing is made, you wonder "Am I dreaming?" Noting that in a dream does not always is the easiest thing to do, but is usually quite obvious if you are dreaming or not. If you are in an unfamiliar place, or do something or see something that probably not occur in reality, you know you are dreaming. Now if you are on your bed or in your own home, then you can try looking at something like a clock or read a book or something, look away then look back and see if the time is the same or the words they read are the same. Try changing the color of something just by thinking about it. Ask yourself: "Am I dreaming?" several times during the day, then you will feel more inclined to ask yourself this in a dream.
The second way to realize that you are dreaming in a dream is a sign recognizing the dream. When this recognition dreamsign will realize you are dreaming. (That is, a pink elephant, meet people who died, or flying magically.) By keeping a dream journal and go back and find things that are common in your dreams, you can choose a dream that is unique to you. So when you see your dream you will find your experience like a dream, and then you can follow the experiments or work you would like to do in your sleep.

By becoming lucid

The biggest problem in passing to be lucid for beginners is that once they realize they are dreaming, you are so excited that wakes from sleep. In reality experienced dreamers Lucid may have this problem too. There are different ways of extending their dreams, if your dream shows signs of ending some people have claimed success turning to help the dream of before, in other words, make your own dream start to spin like a skater on ice, and recalled the following scene will be a sleep, ensure that they continue dreaming of doing a RT. Sometimes just running or jumping can prolong your sleep. Once you become proficient in the achievement of a Lucid Dream state, and are able to maintain this state of a certain degree, the next step will be to control your dreams.

Controlling your dreams

Now fun part! Once it is clear the world is yours, no one can imagine that can happen in your sleep. Have you ever wanted to be a superhero? Being able to become invisible, living like a millionaire to sail around the world. What I personally have had experience in my dream is to fly the first flight will achieve his dream the most incredible feeling of freedom you have ever felt. Just think about it, if I could fly like a bird, the wind in your hair, the freedom to go anywhere, so you get the picture. People have used the experiences of lucid dreaming to improve your waking life also, for example, playing the piano better, better at ice skating, or business success, some people even claim to have religious experiences.
Science has only just begun to examine the process of lucid dreaming. Some researchers see it as an evolutionary development of humanity and our expanding consciousness. Whether you are developing or have had provided this capability, it is clearly not taking advantage of all it has to offer. If we can become more disciplined with our dream job would be Many More options to learn and grow

How can our philosophical understanding will be extended through our state of sleep?

I honestly do not think I can. The dreams and the dream state not integrated in the sound area of the brain, the frontal lobe, which is part of the brain to "rest" during sleep, to dream and have the dream state. Philosophy is a rational enterprise. Although they are better able to remember a dream that contains some strong emotional, our brain is not connected to anything visual really remember the dreams. Many people write their dreams … but are they really write what I have dreamed or are writing partnerships in terms of their emotional reaction to what you dreamed? prophetic dreams, doors to past lives, psi abilities, lucid dream … all characteristics of the dream state, the entire field of scientific speculation about the reality and cause.
