Why the recorded disc only works on my computer?

What I did was to use DVDFab for my dvd movie, then reduced it with DVD Shrink 3.2, after doing so, I burned to a DVD + R 16x. The DVD plays perfectly on my computer, but You Can play on any DVD device. Choose 8x the speed (which was the highest option I gave) free region. I have a new HP Pavilion. Am I doing something wrong?
