Is it better to deal with an eBay scam through PayPal or my bank?
I bought a fake item on eBay, and complained to paypal, but things are moving slowly. The seller has only responded to one of my emails, saying they were going to refund if I sent the item back. The item was sent back, but there was nobody to pick it up. Should I go directly to my bank to get my money? I paid with my debit card, it is a MasterCard.
As has already filed a claim with PayPal, just make sure you follow up and escalation in demand if you have not done. PayPal refunds if You Are found to be in the right with your buyer protection. Have all doumentation ready to move to PayPal in case you need to take a determination.
