Chaos Ages

To all you parents of three children or more – how to find peace and tranquility in your home?

I have 3 children (ages of 7.11 and 12), and daughter (15). I'm tired of chaos and constant noise.

I have 4 children under 7 years, and I do not really get peace and quiet. I'll try to get the older children doing a quiet activity while the baby is sleeping. There are plenty of other children in the neighborhood, so a lot of time children playing here. But my kids go into the homes of other children too. I try to organize, so that my older children go to the other houses the same day. There have been plenty of days I am ready to pull all my hair. When it comes to the point that just going to yell at my kids when they have not done anything wrong, only children, I am sending timeout. I make sure they are all well and safe, turn on the TV for them, and send myself to my Mintues room for a few to catch my breath! (I do not think it hurts a little TV from time to time! And no, I do not use it as a babysitter.) They know that those few minutes that are not bothering me, and my oldest daughter keeps an eye on the baby (16 months). Good luck! Before you know it, he will be out of the house.
