Trace the route of red blood cells from the hepatic portal vein to the capillaries in the villus of small intestines. Can you list all of the blood vessels and organs in sequence in which the red blood cell will pass
thanks
The red blood cells go into the liver first. then they move into the hepatic vein, into the vena cava, which takes them to the heart. From the heart they travel into the lungs through the pulmonary artery. After the lungs they go through the pulmonary vein, into the heart, and into the aorta. In the aorta they move down to the hepatic artery which takes them into the digestive track, which includes the small intestines.
hopefully this helps.
