Bioshock Hot

Is it normal for a laptop GPU to run at 78'C without overclocking?

I do not think I have OC'd my laptop, but I can play Rivatuner games like Bioshock when I said my temperature is 78'C. It does not feel warmer and your state as well since I have my laptop with just your browser occasional accident. I could have overclocked my 7300 a while ago (can not remember), but I reset the default drivers in RivaTuner but still ~ 75-80'C records. ~ 55'C idle. Under the tab 3D performance speeds are 350 and 700 that I think are the defaults (correct me if I'm wrong). Could RivaTuner temperatures have wrong?

for a team with as high as 78'C. that's really high. if you play, try to move 110-120'F. that's fine. above that, it will fry out the system. as anything else, I hope you have a high speed fan / cooler laptop for you. Also I recommend to allow sufficient time for your laptop to cool then when finished with the game.
