flight sim 2004 wont start up after installation?
I installed flight sim about a year ago, then uninstalled it, now I need it again, b/c it helps me with my I/R in real world aviation. I then re-installed it a few weeks ago, everything went fine, untill I double clicked on the flight sim icon on my desktop, the screen goes black, and then just shows my desktop, its not starting up.
sounds like a fragged harddrive to me… always best to do a disc defrag after installing something big.. expecialy something as big..with a buttload of files to it like MSFS..
if after the defrag youve still not got the game up and running.. i would recommend updating your Video Card drivers.. and making sure you have the newest version of directx
