Animal Agents
How are cleaning agents bad for cats?

Is the cleaning agent “shout” bad for animals and what will it do to them?

Cats have very sensitive kidneys & livers. Just about ALL cleaning agents, & detergents (even if diluted with water a lot) are bad for cats, causing organ damage, failure, & even death.

If you must use them, make sure the surfaces are well rinsed with water, or well wiped down with a clean wet cloth after.

I find a few drops of mild dish detergent in water makes a good, relatively safe, general cleaner, that will clean almost anything.

Be aware whether you know it or not, your cats will drink from the toilet, sinks, & from the dirty dishes in them. Make sure the toilets, & sinks are well rinsed out & wiped down with clean pure water or you’re poisoning your cat. Avoid automatic bowl cleaners, & obviously, insecticides.
