Ever had the problem with graphics on Vista?

I got a horrible problem with my Vista. Some 3D games run choppy and the audio awfully lags, but some work normally. Strange thing is that this was not all the time since I installed Vista.
Games that lag:
-Frets on Fire
-TOS4: Oblivion
-NFS: Carbon, ProStreet
-Heroes of Might and Magic V
-GTA: San Andreas

im not sure why it does that but i got command and concour and vista runs the whole game in black and white with square graphix on all round objects it sucks trying to play
