Boxing, Vegas Style
There is something alluring about the glitz and glamour of the lights, the sounds, and the decadence of a night at one of the many World Class Las Vegas luxury hotels. You may think of fantastic music, elaborate meals, exhilarating shows, extravagance, late nights, and beautiful gowns, but do you also think of sweat and broken noses?
It may seem ill-fitting, but in reality all of those things have become part of the culture that surrounds boxing in Las Vegas. For decades Las Vegas resorts have been host to countless boxing events that draw in an endless stream of famous artists, celebrities and the best of the world’s movers and shakers. As sporting events go, boxing may be one of the most raw and primal, but that appears to be the biggest draw. There is something so simple and stripped bare about two people nose to nose in a ring and battling it out for the chance to be the best.
Las Vegas resorts pride themselves on securing the biggest names in boxing, booking the most talked about match ups and playing off of the most bitter of rivals. Although these matches are well advertized and widely available in pay per view, those lucky enough to be among the select and exclusive few to attend a high profile fight in person are in for a surprise. Seeing as no one puts on a show quite like Vegas does, You Can begin to expect the grand venues, celebrity attendees, outrageous after parties and lavish surroundings.
If You Are going to see a boxing match; you are going to hear that icon called to the ring, and you are going to smell that sweat and determination of the athletes, you are going to feel the excitement – and there is simply no place like Vegas to do it.
