What is the stuff called that You Can put things in and it hardens clear, I seen it on a decorating show?

It is something you mix up I think and they put little cars in it for decoration and it dried clear almost like they were sealed in glass.
Oh I have another question too, can you put live plants in it, and how will they look after it cures, I am wanting to put leaves in it and am wondering if they will loose their green color.

It was probably one of the clear craft resins.

If the cars/etc were put into a clear container with the resin, then probably a “floral setting resin” was used. This kind of resin doesn’t get really “hard” like other resins do, but it’s the safest for breathing, etc.
If the cars were put into a mold with the resin and the whole thing later removed from the mold, then either a polyester resin (the least “safe” for lungs) or Easy Cast was used.
If the cars were small or short, and were put into a permanent container or cell of some kind, then either a regular epoxy resin or Easy Cast (a tweaked epoxy resin) was used.

Resins don’t “dry” to become hard btw since they contain no water. Instead they “cure” by chemical reaction to harden (in about 24 hrs) after the two parts have been mixed together.
